ebay WOW

ebay is really a wonderfull marketing device. Just for the hell of it I threw up an ad to sell our country house (Intitally for 10K and then reduced to 5K). Over 1500 people have visited the add to date. That's Less than 1 week... Still No Ebay offers BUT just heard back from our neighbour in Pte fortune.

Lift, Carry, Drop

Well it looks like my neighbour has managed mission impossible. He has found 2 house moving companies(Really ! Pick up the house and move) to relocate the country house by March 15th. It looks like it will cost him a pretty $18K for the operation but there are a few minor details.
(Manual Labour)
1) He has to manually destroy (Get Rid of) the brick fireplace before the move.

2) Has to remove the "Porch" (15'x25') as it is to unstable to move.

3) Has to remove the deck (I am keeping the deck).

(Exterior Decorating).

1) Get a snow plow/blower to remove enough snow from the property to move the house (ALOT!).

2) Move (Ski Doo Tempo)

3) Move my Boat (& Store)

4) Empty Spetic Tank (It may not survive the house driving over it.)

5) Take down Cedar Tree (50ft +)


We meet on Wednesday to discuss the details ! (I'll be taking ALOT of pictures for sure when the big day comes)

Money, Money, Money

Something never to be forgotten is the small detail of payment for this new house to be built. Well it looks like my neighbour has managed to save us some 5-7K by taking this old house off our property, but we have this small detail to deal with of selling our current home.With detail only an accountant can appreciate, I have calculated that with the help of a few close friends we can manage to have the house built and paid for at exactly the same time our bank account approaches 0.
